Application guide
Use evidence, not a blender resume
Three short scopes: understand what Unframed shows, use it in applications, and — when available — share attributed stats outside the dashboard.
1. Understand
Unframed Bit visualises career timelines — and GitHub activity as evidence when that fits the role — not as a seniority score.
- CV Gantt shows tracks and time ranges you can explain in an interview.
- GitHub Visual shows language mix and year-by-year activity, including honest zero years.
- Volume alone does not prove seniority (Anti-Blender).
2. Apply
In applications, point to concrete evidence: continuity, focus areas, and projects — not vague claim lists.
- Lead with the timeline story: what you built, when, and in which focus tracks.
- If you show GitHub charts, say what a quiet year meant (study, job, pivot) instead of hiding gaps.
- Keep recruiter portal visibility and public sharing as separate choices.
