Terms of Service
1. Service scope
Unframed Bit is operated at https://unframed-bit.eu (unframed-bit.eu).
Serap Kuşu-Eryigit
(support@unframed-bit.eu,
contact@unframed-bit.eu,
+352 691 868 822).
Technical implementation:
Nejat Philip Eryigit / Ready-4-IT
(www.ready-4-it.com).
Unframed Bit provides:
- lightweight session access
- local structured profile tooling
- CV-template-based timeline/Gantt rendering
- candidate-side and recruiter-side statistics views where legally permitted
Unframed Bit does not act as a job-matching marketplace, recruiter-owned ATS warehouse, or permanent export service for candidate analytics. Unframed Bit does not guarantee hiring outcomes, authorship certainty, or uninterrupted platform availability.
2. Contract models
B2C (candidate-facing): applies to individual candidates. Pricing tiers: Free, Young Professional, Professional.
B2B (recruiter-facing): applies to recruiter companies and their authorised users. Current MVP scope: recruiter company onboarding is limited to EU/EEA-established entities and the United Kingdom. Recruiter identities are personal seats for auditability. Pricing is credit-based (delivered statistics events), not seat-count billing.
3. Roles
- Candidate: may use Unframed Bit as a local profile and candidate evidence view
- Recruiter user: may access only company-authorised recruiter workspace
- Recruiter company admin: manages recruiter access policy and onboarding
- Platform operator (product / support contact): Serap Kuşu-Eryigit
- Technical implementation: Nejat Philip Eryigit / Ready-4-IT (www.ready-4-it.com)
4. Candidate registration and identity rules
Sign-in and registration are separate steps. First, an identity provider authenticates you (session only). Second, you create an Unframed Bit account by completing registration and accepting these Terms and the Privacy Notice.
- Until registration is completed, Unframed Bit keeps identity data in the session only and does not create a durable account profile.
- A durable account, legal acceptances, and optional consents are stored only when you successfully submit registration.
- You may cancel registration before completion; Unframed Bit then clears the session and deletes any incomplete stub. That is not yet a finished Unframed Bit account.
- Authorisation granted to Unframed Bit at the identity provider (for example Google) remains under that provider’s controls until you revoke it in the provider’s account settings.
- Candidate analysis features require a GitHub identity. Candidate login uses GitHub (UnframedStats App) for authentication; registration and legal acceptances follow as a separate step.
- GitHub username and post-registration display name are immutable in self-service flows; support intervention is required for changes.
- Free tier: after repository-analysis consent and Unframed Stats GitHub App install, the candidate dashboard may show a limited GitHub diagram teaser (about the last one year). Interactive career Gantt remains unavailable on Free. Free GitHub-diagram export stays within that one-year window. Free repository coverage may remain incomplete; shown figures are authentic for the analyzed share.
- Young Professional is the discounted early-career plan. Interactive career/job history is limited to about the last 3 years; education and formation segments remain visible. Time-based GitHub diagrams on the candidate’s own dashboard are limited to about the last 3 years. Professional unlocks the full retained career history and full recorded GitHub diagram history. No eligibility proof (student ID, institution email, or similar) is collected or required.
- Progressive GitHub coverage: there is no contractual maximum number of repositories on an account. After App install, Unframed Bit analyzes installation-visible repositories in plan-sized batches. Young Professional and Professional target complete coverage of non-idle repositories over successive refreshes, subject to GitHub rate limits and honest delay notices. Forks without the candidate’s own commits may be skipped. Coverage status may be disclosed. Elevated GitHub product levers (for example GraphQL), when operator-enabled, may be used only for entitled paid accounts — never for Free.
- During an active paid candidate phase (Young Professional or Professional), an authenticated registered recruiter who opens the candidate’s released profile or link may receive complete GitHub diagrams (full recorded history, sharp). Free candidates remain subject to Free/teaser access rules for recruiter statistics delivery.
5. Recruiter onboarding rules
Recruiter registration requires a prior identity-provider sign-in, then company assignment (firm code or equivalent) and explicit acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Notice. Each recruiter user must have a personal account (shared logins prohibited). Cancelling before completion does not create a recruiter account.
Required onboarding evidence before paid activation:
- country of company seat (EU/EEA in the current MVP)
- company registration evidence (trade register or equivalent)
- VAT/tax identifier where legally applicable
- firm-code ownership or delegated admin authorization evidence
- billing contact and compliance contact route
- recruiter admin identity confirmation (person-bound seat)
- confirmation that released candidate analytics are used only for a current shortlist/search context and deleted after the access phase or at the latest after 90 days unless a legal obligation requires longer retention
- confirmation that released candidate analytics are not transferred outside the EU/EEA without a separate legal basis
Additional evidence may be requested where applicable (Luxembourg establishment authorization or equivalent business license, registered-seat proof for sole traders or edge cases).
Recruiter reaction-time duties: recruiter must answer onboarding deficiency or clarification requests within 5 business days; must report material company master-data changes within 10 business days.
Platform verification targets: completeness review within 2 business days; first approval or deficiency notice within 5 business days; high-risk escalation within 1 business day.
Verification cadence: one-time onboarding verification; annual re-attestation by recruiter company admin; event-driven re-check after material change or abuse indicators; periodic sample checks of seat assignment integrity.
Recruiter geography rule: recruiter companies established outside the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom are not activated in the current MVP.
6. Credit billing and referral policy (B2B)
- Billable unit: a delivered candidate statistics result.
- No charge when there is no consent, no data, or a temporary error.
- Viewing the same candidate statistics again within 1 hour is free.
- Referral rule: 1 successful recruiter referral = 2 free statistics queries.
- Monthly invoice: the amount never falls below the base fee. Extra usage may increase the invoice; bonus credits may reduce it, but not below the base fee.
- Base monthly credits carry over up to 2 additional months. Referral bonus credits expire 3 months after grant. Credits are used in the order they were granted (oldest first).
- Paid features deactivate at contract end. 30-day read-only window applies after end date. Unused credits expire at contract end.
7. Gift packages
Gift packages are allowed as fixed-duration/fixed-credit commercial bundles. Gifts are non-cash, non-refundable, and non-transferable after activation. Gift recipients must still pass standard recruiter onboarding and audit checks.
8. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- upload unlawful or misleading data
- attempt unauthorised access
- scrape or bulk-export beyond contract and legal limits
- build or maintain a recruiter-owned candidate database from released Unframed Bit analytics outside the contract purpose
- transfer released candidate analytics outside the EU/EEA without a separate legal basis and documented safeguard
- use data for unlawful profiling or discrimination
8.1 Report illegal content (DSA)
Users may report illegal content, copyright infringement, fraud attempts, or violations of these Terms via Serap Kuşu-Eryigit at support@unframed-bit.eu. A helpful report includes: description of the content, affected URL or profile ID, reason for the complaint, and contact details of the reporter. Unframed Bit reviews reports with due care and may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts where a violation is found.
8.2 Account restriction and review
Unframed Bit may suspend or restrict accounts for Terms violations, unpaid/invalid onboarding, abuse, or security reasons. Users may request a review of a suspension or restriction decision by contacting support@unframed-bit.eu.
8.3 User content licence
Users retain ownership of content they submit. By submitting content, users grant Unframed Bit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and process that content solely for operating, securing, and improving the Unframed Bit service within the stated purpose limits.
9. Local profile responsibility
Users are responsible for the structured career-template data they enter and must only provide data they are entitled to use.
9.1. Public candidate profile
Candidates may publish a public profile surface reachable via direct link or QR. Publishing is off by default and requires an explicit publication toggle, which counts as consent for that delivery surface. Candidates may revoke publication at any time; after revocation, third-party link/QR access stops resolving.
- Anonymous visitors see only an abbreviated identity (Candidate ID and masked name/contact). Full name and email remain for authenticated recruiters or the candidate self-view.
- External links (LinkedIn, Xing, GitHub, website) may be set to Hidden or Recruiter only. They are never shown to anonymous visitors.
- Diagrams and notes may be set to Recruiters only, Hidden, or Recruiters + public (visible to authenticated recruiters and to anonymous visitors with the link/QR).
- Candidates are responsible for URLs and notes they publish and must only provide content they are entitled to share.
10. Retention baseline
Raw CV material is not retained after transformation into structured timeline data. Structured Gantt/timeline output is time-limited: while covered by an applicable paid/storage window, otherwise subject to the 90-day inactivity baseline and deletion request rules in the Privacy Notice. Released recruiter-side candidate analytics remain shortlist-only and must be deleted after the access phase or at the latest after 90 days unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
11. Service changes
These terms may be updated as the product evolves. Privacy-related processing details are described separately in the Privacy Notice.
12. Payments, cancellation, and refunds (B2C)
Paid plans are billed in advance (monthly or yearly). Cancellation stops renewal; access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
Upgrade replaces YP with no credit for unused time. An upgrade from Young Professional to Professional during an active paid period is a replacement upgrade: after successful Professional settlement, a new Professional billing period starts immediately at the full list price. Unused Young Professional time is not credited onto or stacked with the new period. Young Professional and Professional periods do not run in parallel. Downgrades are not self-service. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory statutory consumer rights.
Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers): if a statutory right of withdrawal applies, it exists only under the conditions and exceptions provided by law. For paid digital services, you may be asked to explicitly request immediate availability during the withdrawal period. If you explicitly request immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once performance begins, then — to the extent permitted by applicable law — the right of withdrawal ends when performance begins.
Refunds: To the extent permitted by applicable law, fees are non-refundable once the paid billing period has started and/or immediate performance has begun. Closing an account during an active paid period ends access without an automatic refund. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory statutory consumer rights.
12.1. Account closure
An account-closure request ends local access and deletes profile data where feasible. Billing records are retained where legally required. Payhip payment data is subject to Payhip terms. Unused time on an active paid plan is not automatically refunded.
13. Access start, public QR views, and withdrawal (B2B)
Recruiters may access certain public QR-based views without creating an account. The recruiter service (authenticated access, company workspace, and any billable statistics delivery) begins when a recruiter account is created and the company activates paid access. Released candidate analytics are time-limited and purpose-limited to the live shortlist/search context covered by the access window. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights generally do not apply to B2B relationships.
